If you’ve ever fancied becoming a cricket umpire, this is your chance! On Monday 15th April from 6.30pm-9.30pm Langford Cricket Club is running a special training course on how to umpire a cricket match.
Hosted at the Club, and run by ECB expert umpires, during the 3 hour course, you will learn everything you need to umpire a recreational match. The practical course will give you an overview of the basic Laws of the game and how to apply them and introduce the principles of field craft and match management.
This is a golden opportunity for non-cricketers who’d like to get involved in all of the fun that goes on at Langford Cricket Club by becoming an umpire, or for former players who’d like to stay connected with the game.
