The Langford Allotments
The Langford allotments are owned by the village and managed by the Langford Charity (whose trustee members are currently Kay Lane, Caroline Parsons, Mark Harris and Richard Kemp). There are some unallocated allotments at the moment and so if you are interested in taking up an allotment please have a word with the Allotments Manager. The Allotments Manager is Andrew Clemons (contactable at clemmy10@googlemail.com)
The Langford Charity owns a plot of land just outside the village on the Broughton Poggs Road. This land has traditionally been used for allotments.
There are currently about 30 allotments on the site, which are rented by villagers or people who have have a connection to Langford.
The allotments are managed on behalf of the Langford Charity by Andrew Clemons (“Clemmy”) – the Charity is very grateful to Andrew for all the voluntary work that he does.
Allotments do become available from time to time, and so if you are interested in taking one on please contact Clemmy on clemmy110@googlemail.com
