Langford Festive Report

Langford can be a very busy place in December!! So what went on during the first weekend in December?

It all started with the Parish Council erecting the village tree next to the war memorial. Which was lit again on the first Tuesday with mince pies, mulled wine and with a few carols supported by The Cotswold Voices choir.

The first Langford Christmas Market followed in the church with the help from The Bell. It included Butchers, Bakers, Mungers, Country Clothing, Distillers and Jewellery Makers! It was great to see so many fantastic companies getting involved: Cybelle & Co, Wood Brothers Distilling, Neal’s Yard Dairy, Hook Norton Brewery, Sourdough Revolution & many more.

Then on the Sunday, the Christmas Craft Fair took place in the village hall raising £192.

Just around the corner St Christopher’s School ran its Christmas Fete. Where Father Christmas made an appearance to check his naughty and nice list!

I think we all needed a lie down after all that festive fun!!
