I’m very excited to announce to everyone that Langford Cricket Club’s winter fundraiser is officially live. We’re raising £20,000 in order to upgrade the clubs facilities for the 2022 season through a Crowdfunding Campaign:

As many of you will know, the cricket club is on the change and with so much energy around the club, we’re looking to invest and bring our facilities up to standard. Despite being ever-so-slightly biased, we do feel the cricket club provides a great little community for everyone in Langford and the surrounding villages, particularly giving younger generations a sense of belonging and would love for that to continue over decades to come. If you, or any of your friends & family are keen to support, you can help from as little as £10.

As part of the fundraise, Christine Apperley is leading our project to get all of our 162 new fence posts sponsored, with personalised plaques and she will be in touch with many of you shortly.
If we are to be successful, and assuming everything goes to plan, next season the club will see:
– new nets
– new electronic scoreboard
– full electric supply installed to the club
– new decking area around the revamped shipping containers
– new outdoor LCC bar open on match days
