Eight teams battled it out on Saturday night to be crowned the Langford Arts Festival quiz champion and as you can see it wasn’t competitive at all!!
The event was held in Langford Village Hall and was an evening of high entertainment and head-scratching pain. Being part of the Langford Arts Festival weekend, this was never going to be just a typical quiz. Rounds of questions were alternated with practical challenges, all with an art theme.
The artist is alive in all of us, however with a few exhibiting artist across some of the teams, you may be able to pick out the real talent.
The play dough round below pitched each team to make at least three characters from the cartoon title given to them. Points were awarded if the opposing team could guess the film or TV show. Try your luck guessing…
There was little time to pause to enjoy the evening’s food which was a delicious chilli. Prizes were awarded for first place, last place, best illustration, best team name and best play dough model.
The round below asked teams to sketch out the book, film or play title given to them. Points were awarded again for opposing teams guessing the right title. Can you guess the titles correctly?
The arts festival runs for one more day (Sunday 9 June 2019) with lots of art still for sale in St Matthews Church. You may find someone to help you with the answers to these challenges. The night was a great success and thanks go to Maddy and Sharron for all their hard work.
I believe the evening may have found some new artists to exhibit at the next Langford Arts Festival!
