Good weather, lots of people, plenty to do and see – all the right ingredients for a delightful afternoon and evening which together made for an awesome Village Day.
Events like this don’t happen without lots of people contributing, and so a big thank you to everyone who helped before, on and after the day – and of course to everyone who came along to make it such a success.
There’s not enough space to name everyone, but special thanks to Nicky and Tom for once again running the Dog Show, to Elaine and Linda for taking on the Produce Show, to Claire for doing the teas, to Sharron and Jane for all their organisational support, and to everyone who volunteered to run a stall or activity. Special thanks too to Lilly Hobbs forcoming along to peform a set in the evening – fabulous talent.
