Activities Fund
Grants from the Parish Council to Projects in Langford Village
The Parish Council, with control over modest sums of public money, would like to make grants to projects with local benefit. This is a new undertaking for us.
What we would like to fund
- Activities and projects for young people in the village to do in the village.
- Activities which support older people continuing to live independently.
- Transport or local car share schemes.
- Anything that benefits the local environment.
- Anything that helps a rural community build a more sustainable future
This is not an exhaustive list. It aims to offer some examples. We would be keen to hear of anything that aligns with these examples and creates local good.
What we don’t want to fund
- Projects outside of the Parish of Langford.
- One off events.
- Projects that need confidentiality.
Our plans are to fund a new project every 6-months – depending on demand within the village.
Applicants may simply mail parishclerk@langfordparishcouncil.com with all of the information they see as relevant. Alternatively as a guide, an Activities Fund Application Form is available.
