Your Village, your Land – The Vineyard, Langford 🌿
As you already know our village has just acquired a fantastic piece of community land, and we need your help and ideas to shape its future! 🌱🏡
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create something truly special for everyone. The possibilities are endless:
✅ Environmental Projects – Community orchard, wildflower meadows, rewilding, bee hives 🌳
✅ Recreational Spaces – Play areas, walking trails, outdoor gym, picnic spots 🏃♀️
✅ Social & Cultural Spaces – Village hub, markets, event spaces 🎭
✅ Educational & Wellbeing Projects – Nature school, gardening beds, mental health spaces 🌻
💡 We Need Your Ideas & Involvement!
To make this a success, we believe it is necessary to operate The Vineyard financially separate from the Parish Council. This will allow us to seek funding, sponsorships, donations and GiftAid, ensuring the land is managed sustainably for the long-term benefit of our village on a break-even basis.

We seek to create a Management Committee, as the VH Committee, with roles that cover Promotions, Bookings, Maintenance and Finance. If you would like to be part of the Committee, please mail our Parish Clerk Caroline Parsons langfordclerk@gmail.com
If you don’t feel that you could help as a Committee Member but you have some ideas as to how The Vineyard might best benefit Langford, please send them to Caroline Parsons

We plan to hold the inaugural meeting of the Vineyard Management Committee in the Village Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 2nd April.
