Parish Council Election

Every four years the Parish Council is up for election
The next election is due on May 4th 2023.

We would love to encourage more people to stand for election to the Parish Council

Why?

  • Because we think that having elections is good for the village and good for the Parish Council
  • To remain effective and forward looking all councils benefit from new ideas and new energy
  • The village benefits from a Parish Council that has active support from all sections of the village
  • Being a Parish Councillor is an interesting thing to do for anyone who enjoys being involved in village life (and it’s not unduly time consuming either)

So do please consider putting yourself forward as a candidate this May.
Standing for election is straightforward – just give your name to the PC Clerk, Caroline Parsons, and she will let you have the necessary paperwork –
