A Special Remembrance Service to mark the 100th Anniversay

Remembrance Sunday

It was a special one this year as it was the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War.

As usual we gathered at the War Memorial to lay the wreath and hold the two minute silence.

This was then followed by a special ceremony of Langford Remembrance.

After the ceremony refreshments were available in the church, and a chance to view the exhibition about the men of Langford and Grafton who gave their lives in WW1

The church bells rang as part of the national peal at 12.30 and again in the evening.

Thanks to Richard Kemp for researching the exhibition. Plans are underway to put the information for everyone to read on the website.
