The Parish Council is made up of five Councillors and a Parish Clerk. A brief introduction to each councillor is written below.

Andrew Clemson

Andrew (Clemmy) has lived in the village for 30 years. 
On a voluntary basis he manages the village allotments on behalf of the Langford charity.

Ian Burton

Ian takes an active interest in environmental quality issues in and around the village.

On a voluntary basis he looks after the defibrillator located at the village hall

Richard Kemp


Richard was brought up in Langford, and moved back to the village in 2000.  He has worked mainly in education, and until his retirement was Head Master of Pate’s Grammar School in Cheltenham.  He is married to Denise, who is also active in village life.

Mark Harris

Vice Chairman

Mark has lived in Langford since 2003 and is married with three young boys. He has been on the Parish Council since 2007. Mark is also a trustee on The Langford Charity and secretary to the Langford Village Hall. 
Mark is a Director at Solid Structures, the office is based in Chipping Norton. The company provides Civil and Structural Consultancy services for a wide range of construction projects. He is a qualified Structural Engineer and has been involved with numerous prestigious buildings.

Ian Corrigan

You will often see Ian walking around the village with his small dogs. Its a great opportunity to combine with a litter pick or monitoring the village maintenance!

Ian lives in the village with our clerk Anne.
